Whiplash is a soft tissue injury to your neck. You may suffer neck or lower back pain, headaches and numbness in your arms or fingers. This is whiplash. It happens with road traffic accident claims because your head is suddenly jolted back and forth in the impact. It causes your neck muscles and ligaments to stretch more than normal (sprain).
The symptoms of whiplash can take between a few hours to 3 days to appear and may get worse over time.
Even slow car bumps may cause enough jerking of the neck to cause symptoms.
You should talk to your doctor as soon as your start to suffer with any of these symptoms. For more information on whiplash see the NHS

We helped Mr C with his road traffic accident claim “I was so grateful for help. I had people ringing me up all the time offering me claims services, I did not know where my car was, then they only repaired part of the car. It was a nightmare. I spent all my time on the phone to insurance companies until I got in touch with Chris and he sorted it all out. I did not have to speak to anyone after that. I should have contacted him sooner. He got the car fixed, the storage bill paid, my earnings back and £5,500 for my injury”.
