Dr Yasser Abdel Rahman Claim follow negligent treatment at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

The Doctor was struck off after he almost killed a patient by connecting the wrong parts of their organs together.

He was was performing emergency bowel surgery on a male patient when he connected the wrong part of the small intestine to the stomach.

The tribunal heard that he would have died if a different surgeon hadn’t carried out a second operation to fix the error. There was a closed loop with the bowel feeding into the stomach and the stomach to the bowel.

The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) heard that Dr Abdel Rahman was working as a locum consultant general and colorectal surgeon.
