Fibroid surgery is preferable to hysterectomy. Discovering uterine fibroids that significantly alter the shape of the uterus, cause persistent pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding and considerable discomfort.

After experiencing months of escalating symptoms, including ongoing pelvic pain and irregular vaginal bleeding that worsened during the menstrual cycles many women seek help. The enlarged uterus and sometimes extensive number of fibroids can cause continuous pressure and discomfort, significantly affecting daily life.

Women should have a thorough evaluation, which includes a pelvic ultrasound. Many women are then told that a hysterectomy is the only solution. Not so.

We must understand how important it is for the patient to preserve her uterus. A hysterectomy comes with significant side effects of incontinence and prolapse.

It is recommended that a surgical approach focusing solely on removing the fibroids while keeping the uterus intact is better care.
